Old Barn

Everyday we are loosing the grand old barns of the area.  This barn has a huge "belly" where the center beams are breaking down.  Took this picture yesterday afternoon as we took a drive down the gravel roads.

August Evening

Now that it's not a 100 degrees everyday and we have had some rain all the critters are coming out checking out the new grass.  John has been busy for the last week using the bush hog on the fields, he still has several more days worth of tractor driving...

An Interesting Rock...

This rock was a gift to me.  Colleen sees things in rocks and brings them to life.  Colleen's husband is our mailman.

Hot August Days...Poor Dogs

Our dogs are lucky enough to have a creek bed to get into and dig holes in the gravel for a cool place...It has been a very challenging summer.. weather wise...
